Browsers Usage Statistics

Many browsers can be used today to view websites. Among these browsers are Opera, Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer. However, not all browsers are the same and they definitely do not work the same. Each browser and each browser version is different performance wise because it interprets website codes differently. Therefore, any website functions and looks different when opened with a different browser.

When we design your website we also make sure that, we test it on different browsers. We want your viewers to experience the same appearance and functionality that we worked hard upon to put into your website. Therefore, we start testing your website on different browsers and different versions earlier on during website development.

Two browsers that have a proven capability to deliver better appearance, functionality, security, and fast loading are Firefox and Google Chrome- and those are what we recommend that you use.

Below are statistics showing the long-term trends of browser usage (collected from W3Schools’ Log files). We can see that Firefox, Google Chrome, and Internet Explorer are the most popular browsers today.
